
Women's Cross Country Watermelon Run August 16th

Jesse Tijerina, Jr, Johnson Miller, Kel Shannon and Charles Trickett continue their playing day's at the next level. See the Baseball page for more info.

Kelsey Miller qualified for the state meet in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:14.49, breaking her own school record for the 3rd time.

The Cougars defeated Cy-Springs 11-0 in the 1st round of playoffs. Highlights included great pitching by Kelly Tepper and Kristen Rumley, a squeeze play by Jessica Stoelke and Emily Meurer. Also a Two run homer by Sophomore Amy Pelton.

Midfielder Preston Davis, Midfielder Juan F. Niño, and Defender
Josh Reicks have been named to the 1st Team All-District, All Region and All State Teams. Juan F. Niño was also named All Greater Houston Player of the Year.

Alexa Lee and Stephanie Li finished third in the Regional in women's doubles.
Paige Rachel finished third in the Regional in girl’s singles.
Sam Barnes and Alex Ishikawa finished second in the Regional in men's doubles.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES FOR THE FRESHMEN:
The Freshmen will play Cy-Lakes at the Berry Center on Thursday at 5:00 (White) and 7:00 (Maroon). The games were originally scheduled for Cy-Lakes High School but their game field is not ready at this time.
Also, the Freshmen White will play next Thursday (September 4th) at Katy Taylor at 4:30. Cy-Springs does not have a White team at this time (only 30 total freshmen in their program). Please note the changes on your schedules.
